Dump Your Plump

Over 65% of McLennan County residents are overweight! Therefore many of our community members are at high risk of developing diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and high blood pressure. Because the need for an intervention has been identified, Dump Your Plump has been created! Dump Your Plump is a competition to encourage healthy eating and weight loss and help participants refocus on daily physical activity.

The staff of the Waco-McLennan County Public Health District, GW Carver Academy, Region 12 Education Service Center and Mental Health Mental Retardation (MHMR) participated.
