The Health District seeks to enhance structure and increase knowledge in the area of disaster preparedness. To achieve this, it is necessary that we train teams. The utilization and application of the Public Health Core Competencies for Emergency Preparedness will assist in effectively addressing high risk emergency situations. Through manpower training and development activities, the Health District staff as well as community partners are receiving training in the areas of emergency preparedness.
